A standard bearer of all-electric driving with the Z.E. range and a key player in motorsport, Renault is playing its part in the emergence of a new type of motor racing that is more accessible and easier on the environment.

Renault brings its expertise to bear in Formula E
As the 2015/16 season dawns, we at reigning champions Renault E.DAMS are redoubling our commitment to motorsport. In developing our own engine/gearbox assembly, we are bringing our technical expertise exclusively to bear in Formula E, developing cutting-edge technologies that will both directly and indirectly benefit the production vehicles in the Z.E. range. Bolstered by this technological support, the Renault E.DAMS team is determined to play a starring role in this the second Formula E season, and has its sights firmly set on the team/drivers double.

From road to track

Staged in city centres around the world, the Formula E Championship is an integral part of the group’s environmental strategy. In our continuing role as a trailblazer, we are making the most of this global showcase to put the spotlight on our know-how in electrical technology. Given our innate gift for innovation and our love of a challenge, competing in the FIA’s fully electric racing championship was an entirely natural step for us.
